Tara Lal
Tara is the founder of Aranyani, the mind and heart behind everything we do. An architect, photographer, designer, artist, chef, and conservationist with 15 years of experience, she’s been quietly piecing Aranyani together for years. To her, Aranyani is both a storytelling platform and a space for real conservation work, with projects always in motion behind the scenes. Her connection to Sacred Landscape runs deep, shaped by a lifetime of travel. She has seen the beauty of untouched wilderness and the destruction of nature up close, experiences that have inspired her to build Aranyani. She’s endlessly curious: diving into art courses, exploring astrology, reading about mythology, folklore, and capturing the world through her camera. But more than anything, she loves being out in the wild. Whether she’s tracking cheetahs, wading through swamps, or just sitting by a riverbank with her hands deep in the mud, that’s where she feels most at home. She explores, she experiments, she follows her instincts, and Aranyani is all of that coming together.
Supriya Dravid
Supriya leads brand strategy at Aranyani, constantly looking at all the ways to grow the brand while holding together the many moving parts of how we function. She comes with years of experience in editorial and magazine publishing, bringing a sharp eye for storytelling and strategy. Her connection to Sacred Rituals runs deep—shaped by a childhood where her mother meticulously followed rituals aligned with the phases of the moon. Now, whether she’s charting the brand’s next steps or refining the way we work, she’s always on the lookout on what’s to come.
Subuhi Siddique
Subuhi is the organisational backbone of Aranyani, ensuring that teams stay aligned, schedules run smoothly, and operations remain seamless. She manages calendars, coordinates workflows, and keeps communication clear so every project moves forward with precision and calm. Her ability to hold details, priorities, and people together makes her the steady hand behind the work Aranyani brings to life. Growing up in a lake-studded city, and with a name that means the first golden ray of dawn, she has always felt drawn to the quiet strength of lakes, rivers, and oceans. Spending hours watching the soothing waves, the aquatic flora & fauna & breathing the petrichor breeze she finds her solace in lakes, rivers & oceans. Rooted in these sacred foundations, Subuhi is devoted to nurturing Aranyani into a towering sequoia—strong, enduring, and deeply connected to the Earth.
Ishani Singh
Ishani leads content planning and writes for Aranyani. But some days, her work takes her beyond words: tracing the migratory paths of Arctic terns, or tracking the cycles of the moon. Her connection to nature is deeply rooted in Sacred Earth, the forests and grasslands that shaped her sense of wonder. Raised by parents who felt most at home in the wild, she still seeks those moments of escape in nature. She writes, she wonders, and she tells the stories that make Aranyani more than just a brand.
Niharika Jain
Niharika leads design direction at Aranyani, shaping the visual world we call home. She has a keen eye for global contemporary design trends as well as a love for traditional art forms. Currently obsessed with Indian Miniature paintings, she studies the way their colors, textures, and stories come together.
Her work isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about finding the right concept, process and visual language to bring our narratives to life. She feels most connected to the Sacred Cosmos, believing that the universe is guided by rhythms and energies that shape how we feel, act, and move through the world. For her, design is no different; it’s about understanding these forces and weaving them into a visual language that feels intuitive, intentional, and alive. And at Aranyani, she builds a world where every detail speaks.
Aman
Aman is a designer who brings ideas to life at Aranyani, continually evolving how the organisation speaks to the world. With a fresh, intuitive perspective, he shapes a visual narrative that feels grounded yet contemporary. Having spent his early years in the mountains, he carries their stillness with him, a calm, steady presence that naturally comes through in the way he sees and creates. For Aman, design doesn’t need to be loud to make an impact. He believes in subtlety and intention, and at Aranyani, he uses that philosophy to build visuals that feel honest, warm, and quietly powerful.
Anahitaa Bakshi
Anahitaa leads conservation strategy at Aranyani Earth, designing nature-positive projects that restore ecosystems and strengthen biodiversity. Her work takes her from strategy documents to restoration sites, walking the land alongside local communities and mapping the slow return of native species to degraded soil. With over a decade in climate and sustainability — from leading climate tech investments at ACT Grants to managing Dalberg’s climate practice — she brings both rigor and heart to landscape stewardship. A climate mentor with Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project, she believes the best solutions sit at the intersection of ecology, community, and scale. When she’s not building those solutions, she’s chasing light with her camera, solving complicated puzzles, or adding to her count of 67+ countries explored.
